The Future of Healthcare
We are entering a time of dramatic change in the American healthcare system.
The
Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, experiments in
bundled reimbursement or episode-based reimbursement, growing interest in the primary care setting as the
Medical Home, and other developments are converging.
The intended result will be a healthcare system that emphasizes integrated healthcare coordinated through
the primary care practice.
In response, healthcare professionals--medicine, nursing, psychology, social work, and others--are increasingly interested
in preparing themselves for the healthcare system of the future. The Certificate Program in Integrated Primary Care (CPIPC),
offered by Fairleigh Dickinson University, was developed specifically to help busy
healthcare professionals achieve that preparation. Designed from the ground up to be distributed completely online,
participation in the CPIPC can be designed around your schedule. At the same time, we establish a set of deadlines and
competency demonstrations with the goal of moving you forward at a reasonable rate. If you are interested in learning more,
use the links to the left to explore the CPIPC so you can decide whether it represents the right program for you.
You can access the program flyer here.
